PMU Certified Dermapigmentologist® - preliminary course
“PMU Certified Dermapigmentologist®” seal of approval
Permanent make up artists who want to position themselves as certified, high-quality providers that customers can trust without hesitation.
Over the past two decades, the number of PMU stylists has risen sharply. For end customers, it is often difficult to tell who actually does quality work and who does not, due to the glossy presentations on social media. The Swiss Association for Permanent Make Up awards its protected seal of approval to certified PMU stylists who meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.
Procedure
The Swiss Professional Association for Permanent Makeup was founded to connect like-minded people who place particular emphasis on quality and expertise. Become a member and enjoy numerous benefits:
- Representation in politics and business
- Legal support
- Certified quality and safety standards
- Marketing and visibility boost
- Independent recognition as a trustworthy professional
- Access to expertise and trends
- Participation in the association
- Networking and exchange of experiences
- Discounted training and certifications
As a member, you will be tested on hygienic and responsible working practices and can register for the Certified Dermapigmentologist® Examination.
Before the exam, a preliminary course at a partner training institute of the professional association is required. Depending on your previous knowledge and individual assessment, you will only complete the theoretical part or both theory and practice. You order the course materials directly from the Association for Permanent Make Up; they will be issued by your trainer at the training institute.
The SC Academy is the first international training institute to be authorized to offer the preliminary courses for the PMU Certified Dermapigmentologist®.
