Medical Basics for PMU & MB
Target group
For all persons who want to start their own business in the PMU sector, part of the PMU basic training.
Description
This course is divided into a theoretical homelearning part and a practical discussion via ZOOM with Dr. Stefan Riml. The teaching about anatomy, dermatology, hygiene etc. is an absolutely necessary basis to be able to register a PMU business in Austria.

Content
The Swiss Color Basic Training program comprises a total of 139 training hours and thus covers all mandatory content in accordance with the Austrian Trade Regulation Act (BGBl. II No. 139/2003), including the minimum number of instructional hours required for each component.
Of these:
- 56 hours are dedicated to the separate seminar “Medical Fundamentals,”
examined by Dr. Stefan Riml - 83 hours are dedicated to the practical and theoretical PMU basic training,
held directly at the Swiss Color Academy
This comprehensive training—in combination with proof of your practical proficiency, which can be demonstrated in two ways—forms the basis for registering your PMU business in Austria:
Passing a qualification exam (e.g., at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber – WKO, Cosmetics Division)
Proof of at least 100 hours of practical PMU experience, confirmed by a corresponding certificate of employment
